Should I buy eggs or wait it out?

oh Royce was just dancing for a bunch of hens who were dust bathing, and he got Coral's attention... but she was just dancing around him in circles and not really squatting for him... but he enticed a few over the course of the day.

aww lindz, they are so adorable! dark skin, 5 toes... dark legs, but no feathers on the legs? I wanna say you's gotsa Sillie Silkie...! but they don't have clean legs... or usually don't...WHAT IS IT???

There are 19 eggs left.
It does have feathers on its legs!!!! Not sure that it is 100% Silkie, but it is definitely a Silkie mix!!!!!

I am thinking I might go early.

If I do I want cheeka or W4W by my side. Preferably both of them. One on each leg. And OK making PIES the whole time to restore me to normal. Everybody else needs to know I am registered at Tractor Supply. Lindz do you have room if I have twins? Guess I should say "double yoke". I wouldn't mess with that idiot rooster on a bad day.

yes he did run miles! and guaranteed, once he recovers from this, he'll be ready to do it again! he is still wiped out, and one of his paws is a touch swollen - he covered some rough terrain and had to navigate by nose in the dark to find home. he's never run off in that direction before, so putting my stuff way in the backyard made sense to ensure he would find his way. I had to laugh at him this afternoon when I let him out, I bet I could have let him off the leash... that's how tired he still was (and is), but no way would I take that chance! I was deliriously tired but still awake when he scratched at the door at midnight... knucklehead. I love that dog. all I could do was hug him, I was so relieved.

ooh lindz! a Silkie baby! even a mix... so awesome! I just adore Sillie, and she let RIR Red, the real sheeny shiny bantam roo mount her yesterday! just imagine the mix from that pairing! we are expecting one last blast of cold weather early to middle of next week, freezing temps overnight... so I won't try to give out eggs to Peach, Esther or Cochin Zira, who has been glued in the corner of the store bought coop for days...

SHE lays all of HER eggs on the "poop board". Then uses them for target practice....

even got my Delaware's doing that. NOT FUNNY!!!!!!
