Should I buy eggs or wait it out?

if they all are about the same coloring KB, you have a couple of weeks yet to go. her comb is nice and pink but her face is mighty yellow, she'll need to redden up a bit before you should expect eggs, and her face should turn pink

Smoke on the right, 3 years ago. The other 2 RSL passed last year and the third was a roo.

I don't think I have to worry much about the hooligans going to bed at night. 2 nights in a row they've gone in on their own and today it's chilly and windy and they came out to have breakfast and get a drink and then went right back in to sit out the chilly wind. They clearly think of it as their safe place/home. Yay!

HA! That almost made my laugh so hard I snorted poopy water out my nose. Really we found a weak spot in the coop and we're bustin outta here. I have Hedwig on watch duty. No one ever suspects her.

I wish the BBW boys would go inside! Adult turkeys don't need shelter (amazing, huh?) but at this age they do. Especially because they sleep right next to the fence with their heads in front of, or even hanging out of the fence. Racoon's easy target!

That about a 10 day old turkey? LOL. They are soooo big! Half the age and 3 times the size of my little ameracaunas!

Good memory, but the Bourbons are ten days. These two are six weeks today (or tomorrow. Not sure).

Last week. Can you see a size difference? I haven't been weighing them, but I plan to start. They are getting heavy.

I know that one or two willl be my food, but they are so cute!!
