that's something I don't understand....my EE Limin began laying before her 18 week birthday. I think it has a lot to do with when they hatched, when they started maturing versus when the days were getting longer and now they are getting shorter. But they should lay well all winter, God willing? Since its their first year?subhanalah... give it to 30-32 weeks before you call late bloomin' EE's "slackers" once you start finding tinted eggs, you'll be grateful that they will lay longer in their lives than the earlier starting production breeds...
