Thank you scrambles55. Actually they are all three new layers within the last three weeks and I am still so excited to go out there and get my nice warm eggs. I am new to backyard chickens. Seemed like such a long wait but SO worth it!!

Well welcome to BYC and chickens!!! It's great isn't it!!!! I don't even mind the cold so much now that I have chickens.

It is great! Love them so much, they are so funny to watch and the rewards are great! Today though I had two great eggs and a shell-less one from Pip (I think). She has been laying pretty much every day for three weeks. I have oyster shell and they are on layer feed. I almost wish she would take a little break.

Mylee is the Pre-K Lap Running Champion! she won a bunch of stuff at school today - a notebook and pads, a pack of colored pencils and a t-shirt. her teacher posted this pic, it's been a bit annoying that no one takes regular pics of her for me... I miss her so much.

flock is good, had a good afternoon outside today and I did get some pics, but I'll share tomorrow. I have the day off and hope to spend the morning chilling out and the rest of the day outside.
