Should I buy eggs or wait it out?

I'm pretty sure it's less time consuming than chickens...or goats....or Rawleys ;) They say it's more time consuming than a cat but less than a dog. I guess other people spent less time on their cats than I do lol.

Really? I find that shocking. Rawley is surprisingly low maint. The cats on the other hand....

I can have all animals fed, pooped, etc... In 30 min in the morning. Afternoon is prob the same. Then every now an then some time doing bigger jobs (eg buying hay, coop clean out, etc...).

Gilcamp.... I use leftover scraps of venison or elk. A few years ago, when DH was processing an elk and tossing meat in the garbage pile, I said," HEY.... save that for dog food". So ever since, with whatever we kill, the meat that we don't eat gets made into dog food. I make a kind of stew with the meat and throw in some veggies. Sweet potatoes, carrots, peas, green beans, a handful of oats or brown rice and maybe some bacon grease. If I am short on veggies, I will use the frozen veggie mix. My dog loves it. I mix it in with dry food so that he gets the extra stuff he might need that the homemade stuff might lack.
sounds good for me to eat. lmdo i don't give mine any table food but once in awhile gravy in his dry food he eats only rachial ray

Lindz I was able to get on here on my phone using a different browser just now. Chrome instead of the "internet" one. The other one is stuck on desktop view and that crashes it every time. Stupid.

It snowed a couple inches last night. The girls will not be pleased. I had to shovel which I normally don't have to do but hubby is off in PA doing work or visiting his other family or whatever so I am in charge.

Oh and scrambles, pooing rainbows is definitely not a good thing!

How is she? Seems ok? Not dead. No final diagnosis. $1500 and no diagnosis can you believe that? Everyone expected her to die and she hasn't. I am confused.

Well..... Paisley has been sick for a couple of days. I first thought she had gotten something that upset her stomach. She quit eating and was extremely lethargic yesterday so we had her at the vet when they opened this morning. She had a bowel blockage that was little bits of plastic (I am betting mega blocks) and hair. She will be at the vet until Thursday most likely.
