My eyes aren't that good, so I'll go with Ron's guess.
You got chicken rustlers around, MC? Where are you planning on going?Yesterday, before I knew I was watching Jaz, I got the turkey pen ready for the chickens. The plan was to allow free range in the evening. Once they headed towards the pen, toss some scratch in to get them in there.
I tried to rush twice, but no go. The first time during the early afternoon the dog wouldn't leave me alone, and kept them away. The second, it was too late (8:00) and they wanted to go back to their coop within minutes of coming out.
It's all for the best. I want to go away for a week, and I need to have it more weather proof for my sanity.
Anyone else have to put a lock on their coop when they go away?
Quote: thanks, and yes, that is its eye - cool huh??? all kinds of critters eat or nibble at butterflies and their wings do fray with age. could be any number of things, but they can fly even without hind wings.
such a love! she'll be a wrangler before you know it and you won't need anyone's help to run the farm! stinks you have thieving folks. hope you have a great trip!
OK, I need bigger pics too, but I agree with ron from what I can see...
