I've never seen candy corn in the UK, is it nice?

They're mostly just sugar with a little bit of flavoring. In my book, doesn't hold a candle to chocolate.

is it nice? Hmmm...it's kind of one of those things you either like or you hate. I like it sometimes. I kinda have to be in the mood. I'm trying to think of a good comparison. Can't think of anything. I think the primary flavoring in them is honey.

When it comes to candy corn, it has to be Brach's. Most generics are gross or tasteless.

Min, sugar and honey... and food coloring. extremely sweet, definitely a seasonal candy, gross if you eat too many, but fun to nibble on. firm, yet melts quickly and a bit chewy. I have friends in the UK who were like "what the heck is that?" so I sent them some, along with a box of Boo Berry cereal, and a Snickers bar... because y'all would never name a candy "s'nickers" lol it's the same as your Mars bar - we have a Mars bar here, but it's totally different.

eta, maybe it was the Marathon bar... I forget now... anyway, it's interesting that we do all have the same big company candy bars, but named differently.

so true MC, the Brach's autumn mix candy corn is the best, the chocolate part actually tastes like chocolate... the generics just taste like sugar.

Brach's is hard to find out our way. They used to sell individual wrapped pieces in bulk out of bins, and you could get a few of everything. I really miss their sour balls. Those were the best, even though I usually cut my tongue.

I don't like to buy a whole bag when I just want a taste. You know. Because I'll eat it all.
