I just got into trouble for calmly asking the neighbor to respect me. She is crying, and yelled at me, "I'm allowed to comment! I can see them!" She can see them because she was looking where her eyes shouldn't be. She can see them because THEY forbid me to have a fence up. "It's rude" they said.

I will be 100% honest. I want my life to stay quiet because if my husband wants to know what and how I am doing, he can darn well ask for himself!! Not hear it from his family!

I guess I am lucky to have a neighbor who likes our fence and is interested in our chickens (She usually asks about their health every once in a while). Sometimes, don't you just wish you could live in a perfect worlds and neighbours would leave you and your chickens and ducks in peace?!

I wish the neighbors weren't my husband's cousins, Jazlyn's aunts and where my sister-in-law grew up! (If you've missed previous posts, Jazlyn is my niece and cousin).

My sister (whom I don't really talk to) was coming through, and took me to lunch. I then went to TSC where they now have Nutrena (and I didn't have any of the coupons). I wanted to get some more feed and some chick feed for ducklings (which they didn't have still, so I'll have to add the Niacin. Which I have to order because Walmart didn't have the right kind). That was $100.
Then to Walmart where I now really wish I had spent the $$ to buy another baby gate. I have a vent in the bathroom, and it is the strongest in the house. I can't keep heating the bathroom all day! So I need a gate so little bodies can't run in there and get into trouble.
I spent about $40 on the ducks, and $30 on me. The rest was Jazlyn and a little bit for another niece's Christmas. I am now done with the girls!! I will order the rest online later. That store was $200. I am beyond broke!

Know what is sad? I bought fresh vegetables for the ducks, and not me. I never buy fresh produce for me. It is too expensive!

No no. I was in my mid 30s when I had my 1st boy. He's 17 now! I am old enough to be a grandma, but it will be a long time, I think. (I hope!)
