Should I buy eggs or wait it out?

thank you for the birthday greetings - because it's opening day of deer (gun) season, I don't have anyone to hang out with. so I did some shopping myself and got takeout Chinese. I'm almost ready for bed... stupid Facebook Market won't be ready for another 45 minutes and if I blow it off, everything will be "damaged" in the morning and it will take MC a week to salvage it all for me...

oh W4W... in some ways you miss out on a lot by avoiding Facebook, and then again... you avoid all the addictive and ridiculous games. Marketland is a game, where you run a little business and level up to expand... sell more kinds of items, complete goals for more points, $$ or items that increase the luxuriousness of your Market.

Oh, a game. I thought maybe you were setting up a shop or something to sell your photos! I already spend way too much time on BYC. If I got hooked on Facebook games, I would be doooomed!

Is it just me, or is this day flying by? Maybe it is because of all my cleaning. I mopped, cleaned off counters, heard the cat throw up so I mopped again. :/

it's not just you. I did all the dishes, 3 loads of laundry, made a big Pie for the flock and I was whooped. my knee is bad. I pretty much spent the rest of the day resting and it still flew by. it's almost time to turn in...back to the grind tomorrow. at least I get an extra day off with a big feast...
I colored this afternoon. from an adult coloring book. I'm a bit of a nonconformist. there's a bunch of "groups" who share their work, and they do the same pattern throughout. I wanted all different... I'll ahve to take it outside during the day, and take a photo in the shade. the flash messes it up a bit. kinda like photographing eggs... done with colored pencils .to add highlights with charcoal and pastels when it's all colored.
can't remember if I shared when I started...

it's taking forever, but my time is limited...

They make a wallpaper that comes with special markers (might be crayons. Looked like oil pencils, but I doubt that!). You should look it up! Put it in a coop as an excuse to hang out with the flock.
I was with my in-laws tonight. I am relieved and seriously disturbed by most everything. Relieved that I have her a lot. Disturbed by everything else!

Okay, this is for anyone that has had to handle your kids and flock by yourself... I will never believe that colds come from the cold or wet hair. Germs cause it. Dry heat and being confined inside (where germs breed!) causes it. However Jaz can't be outside when the snow reaches my hip or the wind is biting. So, what do I do when she's awake and I need to go out? Put her in he Pack n Play and let her cry?
When she can go out with me, what do I put on her? Gloves and hat are a given. I have a 40% off for Land's End, which means I can get boots for $15 for her. Do I keep her boots with the muck boots? Or, do I layer her in a lot of socks, and use her rubber boots? Snow pants in her size are $13 or so. Not a lot, but I need to buy more hats and gloves, plus real heavy gloves/mittens suitable for real weather/snow. Kids fall, and she's going to get wet, so that is why the extra hat and mittens. Plus snot happens.

So! What is the protocol for winters and toddlers and the coop?
