The weather here is oddly balmy (around 50* tonight) and sprinkling just a bit. We don't usually get these warm storms in the middle of winter. Seems like whatever is going on in the rest of the country, California just has to be different!
Got 7 eggs today, which was more that I expected. People from work keep asking my hubby for eggs, so glad they are laying fairly well.
Cheeka, do you have any time off this weekend? You remind me of my sis. She is the go-to person at work too, and feels guilty saying no. I tell her she should take days off every so often so she will be appreciated more!
We had some terrible news on my local thread. A woman who raises heritage chickens in the Sierra foothills (where it is quite cold) went missing Monday with her 5 yr old daughter. Few days later, divers from the sheriff's dept found their bodies under the ice of a pond on the property. Stay warm and safe everyone.
