Awesome!

just got home, and it is quite crappy out. super windy, fast moving clouds, some of which are scattering snow, the weather seems to be changing every few minutes. think I will grab Peach and see who wants to come out for a few minutes anyway... they all run back to the enclosure any time it snows, so... I'm sure we won't be out too long. this is the time of year when it snows a little bit everyday. it might not amount to anything, but usually end January, start of February, it snows some everyday. only one egg so far, from Peach.

Looky Looky! Not from my bunch, but from my free rangers at work. No one else collects them, so when I get there on Thurs, my Mon, I throw out anything I find because I don't know if they are still good. When I am at work, any eggs I collect get hard boiled and given to the animals in the zoo. :) 4 of this group were duck eggs.

I wish I got snow like that... I am NOT excited about the super bowl. It is 2 days before my birthday (Feb. 5) and I wanted to have my party this weekend.

11 eggs so far today. Some may be from last night. Either way, I am happy.
Cadbury actually pooped on me!

She has stepped in poop before flying to me, but I have never been pooped on before. Without a washer, I will have to wash the coat in the tub. Joy.
and today. Big switch from yesterday.

Awwww. DH's birthday is Tuesday, too. I will be taking him to the Longhorn Steak House.

I am in the moooooood for dead cow!! Not much of a meat person, but when I want steak, it is the place to go!
He will be 56. You will be 16 won't you. Please say no. Your Sweet 16 should be perfect!

Do you work at a zoo then? What do you do? Sounds interesting, whatever it is! (Just ignore if I am too nosy!)

Eggs that are hanging around for a few days should still be good if it hasn't been too hot. The natural bloom on the shell has protective properties unless it gets washed off. So maybe not good after it rains if they're outside. I leave eggs out on my counter for 3 or 4 days and have never had a problem. I would feed the eggs in your pic to my dogs without hesitation. Unless one was really stinky when you cracked it open!

My dopey dogs would probably eat it anyway. Or roll in in.

X2

Isn't there a way to tell if an egg is going bad, other than the old reliable sniff-a-roo test? Thought I read something somewhere..... floating vs sinking???.... requires a bit of research.
