In my house we call that a meatsicle. You realize you have just called my children barbarians!howdy howdy howdy... today was one of the longest days I've had in quite some time! I had venison tenderloin already cooked in the fridge, meant for a nice sandwich... but it became a hunk of meat on a fork. it was sooooo good... I marinated it in Worcestershire sauce and grape juice, cooked with a butter baste to perfect rare... so lazy of me to just stab it and eat like a barbarian.

Quote: Yes, a definite bonus being close, and the folks were very efficient with their time, a very quick meeting. It's a small club, only about 12 or so kids all doing beef and dairy cows, goats, and swine. I guess word got out that I was going to step in as poultry leader, so there were 2 other kids there who were interested. Yay! Now I just have to get myself signed up all official like, get finger printed, go to training, and figure out what the heck a poultry leader does. Oh yeah, also find out about the ins and outs of chicken competitions and showing. Weeeeeee...!!!
