Should I buy eggs or wait it out?

Wish I could give you a real hug. If I was closer, I'd come help too. So sorry about your mom. I think care givers have as much stress as the patients, maybe more because of the worry. Take good care of yourself. If you go down, they will have an even harder time. Double hugs.

For the hardest working girls in Kentucky I have prepared a special breakfast. Pancake PIE will be served in a few minutes.

Ingrediients : Expired pancake mix, four eggs/w crunched up shells, corn meal, BOSS, scratch, and water. Made them in the waffle iron. Four huge pancakes with BOSS and scratch for dessert.

Jchny! So sorry for all the health issues this year! Make sure to take care of yourself as well! My granny always tells me "You ain't no good to nobody if you don't take care of yourself!" Sometimes you need to take a little bit for yourself, just to be able to keep going!

Cheeka, you've gotten pummeled this year! Maybe spring will come soon, and you guys can thaw out... Then you will have to deal with the mud!

Roger, you poor baby! Did you lay this week and Dad not pamper you? Mean ole dad!

Ok, the chickens sound pampered to me! (Don't tell her I said that!)

CLindz... how are the chicks? When do you get the pup?

Hope everyone else is doing good!

We are still thawing around here.... I let the chickens out this morning, and they are out scratching in the mud, and not quite avoiding the white stuff as much! I am going to have to figure out something for my feed... there is another squirrel that tore into a brand new bag of feed yesterday!

Aww, Jchny2000, I wish I could help! You will keep slugging along and get through this. People will heal, the snow will melt, and you will see a spring of flowers and sunshine. As hard as it is to get through everything, keep one little thing that is precious to you for each day - it doesn't matter if it is seems silly, or selfish, or pointless, whatever it is, keep one little ritual to maintain your spirit. Part of taking care of others is taking care of yourself.

had to push that much outta the way to open the door... that door is a good 4' above the ground with steps... looks flat out there...

Chester had a blast wading through it and bounding after the plow...

the Dome is half buried.

water was 2' under the snow

Nesting box was buried under 3' + of snow... because of drifting... but it's all plowed out now...

Delilah blames me for the snow....

Wilma barged in ahead of Veronica even tho' Veronica was ahead and she outranks the BR... Wilma declared "Age and Beauty before YOU" and that was the end of it.

8 Eggs today
WoW!!! You had a ton of snow!! It looks like you did a great job of clearing things out.
