Cheeka, I figured it was Sesame Street, because we only got 2 and a half channels growing up and PBS was not one of them. But when I was older and baby sitting, I used to watch it with the kids. Catchy tunes! I like the Rubber Ducky song.

W4W, we had 3 channels, PBS included. I was not so much a fan of Mr. Rogers neighborhood or Captain Kangaroo, like my older brother... I loved Romper Room... and when Sesame Street came out - I was 5, and I was at my friend Jamie McMorris' house to play when the first episode aired. His Mom called us in from playing to watch it - we were GLUED! I will never forget that day... or any of those wonderful human characters - Gordon & Susan, David... Maria, Luis, Mr. Hooper... the muppets are classic and brilliant - when they got their "own" show... that was so funny that a kid I was babysitting fell backwards laughing and split his head open on the fireplace bricks... blood everywhere and he didn't even feel it!

we really got hammered. 22". I couldn't even open the doors to the outside without pushing about 5-6" into a wedge. I've arranged to go into work late. gives me time to get the snow moved here and let the road crews make it safer... it's so windy that snow is drifting back in to the road...

So... yesterday, I got three beautiful eggs from my girls.

One minty green, one pinky brown and one speckled brown. I was showing them to my DH when he accidentally knocked one out of my hand and splat...... broken egg.

Oh well... the girls got scrambled egg with rice and alfalfa sprouts.

Out morning snow has just turned to rain. The girls are in the run. I will let them free range this afternoon.

I get home from running errands and I could hear an egg song. I hurried out and found a toasty warm egg from Penny.

I brought them out some fresh chopped strawberries and let them out of the pen. They stuck their beaks up at the berries and squawked at me.

Smoke chased me back to the patio, so I gave her a handful of nuts and seeds. The others came running...

Mine don't like strawberries either, nor citrus (someone had asked about that a few pages ago). The two Ameraucanas go nuts for tomatoes and anything green, while the others will practically kill for for bread and dry cat food. They all agree on meat, egg, kale, and scratch. And pie. Chicken ambrosia! No matter what I toss out for them, someone will eat it.

Only 2 eggs today.

Still have a little more time before sundown, though, so maybe there will be more. I think this might be hump day for most of them, and they will start back laying in the morning. Looove getting warm eggs on a cold morning!
