Ha, it has been good catching up to the thread, had me laughing....and that hurts so quit! Yep, been a little busy fighting for my life last few days. Stable now....well....sorta of stable...have a way to go but god has put me in the hands of a leading pulmonary surgeon and it is odd to be taken care of. Maybe I can have some fun and charge the students 20 bucks each to be on my case. Well, the flu went to pneumonia which turned into a mass detected by CT scan....so yeah, its very serious...bummer huh. I am still trying to determine if this thoracic guy is just super upbeat and positive or really believes I'll win. I think I'll believe its both.
My chickens have been behaving very well...odd, no one is fighting and they are all flocking together. What I wouldn't give for a bacon cheeseburger at the moment. Or a chicken patty melt.! Did I say that.

I am now going to go feed the gang. Tonight I will catch Red, and tomorrow he will be gone. I am sorry for that, but he is a JERK! I just have to make it through one more day without losing an eye.

We've been worried, and it sounds like there was reason to be. So sorry to hear about your distressing news. You should believe that that surgeon will make you well! Never underestimate the power of positive thinking and prayer, and I'm sure we will do all we can to contribute in that department. (For Animallover too.)

Your chickens must have missed you. (I'm assuming you've done some hospital time, which rivals prison time I think, for the prize of Place-I'd-Least-Want-to-Spend-My-Day.) With spring slowly approaching, I'm sure they'll get back to their normal chicken craziness.

Mmmm.... bacon Cheeseburger.... Now I'm hungry again want to eat again, but must refrain. Birthday coming in a few months and am going to lose a few pounds as a present to myself (I hope!). Is there a reason you can't have a burger or patty melt? Pm me your address and I'll FedEx whatever you want!!! Take care and please keep us posted.

Well yesterday. I got 3 eggs. So I had a lone chat with the girls last night. It must have helped cause today I have gotten 9!!! So far and 1 is one the nest box now. Can't believe it. Must have been that I was talking bout chicken and sausage gumbo that helped. Lol

Talk to mine! I got 7 yesterday, so I was expecting 10-12 today. Seven so far. Darn. I will check when it is time to roost. I have to get Red then anyway.

I have a Dr. appointment tomorrow. I *might* have to have surgery on my kidney. I hope I don't, but I could use some well-wishers

My prayers are with you. I have had a bad kidney for years, stones, lithotripsy... painful stuff. hope all works out well.
