Should I buy eggs or wait it out?

Also got another RIR. Made Roger jealous.

So for now I have three and one just hatched or will hatch shortly. Another egg was cracked but I was in a hurry to put everything back together and didn't look at it too good.

Here we have the two chicks that are still alive, and the half hatched chick that may be stuck. I am waiting to hear from another thread on what to do.
OK, I am so glad to be going through this with you. I am amazed at how things you are going through is making my experience easier.

Thank you!!

One of my adoptees is a Delaware....sweet girl. My husband likes your BO, he asked how come we don't have one, thinks she is pretty. Hubby is the one who picked out our BR .

I'm learning too. You all have been a lot of help to me. Thanks to you as well.

MC, how long has it been zipped? If they dry out and get stuck, I've heard of putting a piece of paper towel over it dampened with warm water, but if it's been 2 days, and the yolk is absorbed, some folks will help it out very carefully with a wet Q-tip, watching out not to break any blood vessels. Some won't help them because they say there is a higher chance for legs problems. I think it depends on how much you paid for the eggs!

BO's are great birds. I have big broody and another BO about half her size. They can get pretty big. I think big broody has gotten too big. I cut out her scratch for now. She needs exercise too. Hope she gets her legs back.
