Should I buy eggs or wait it out?

Eggs made it here today. Practice is over for BR broody. Giving her the real deal as soon as it gets dark. You think 8 eggs max cheeka for a small BR hen?

15 Eggs today! the littlest chick is getting wing feathers, although they are very hard to see... it being a Silie and all...

outside of the finishing work like quarter round at the base of the cabinets and lowering the feet on the fridge so it fits under the upper cabinets... the floor is finished! I love it! it feels very inviting... I want to call someone to come over for a supper of bacon and eggs and a pot of decaf...
Looks great cheeka. You have good taste. Need to get your opinion on something for my house. I will post a picture later and get your thoughts and anybody else (girls only) who would like to comment.

I do think 8 is a good # to start with, you'll be able to tell how well she covers them by morning... but do you not want to let the eggs stand for maybe a day to settle after shipping? I know you don't know how old the eggs are, so maybe it's best to let her start them...

Here is my question to you girls. After searching for several years to find the perfect centerpiece for my formal dining room table I finally found what I consider the perfect centerpiece. It matches the blinds and the trim perfect. My question is should I drill a hole in the table to run the cords thru the table or just let them hang over the side of the table and plug them into a extension cord. I have a brown extension cord. (I know better than to use a orange one). Your thoughts please.

So as you can tell I have challenged my little broody to a hatching contest. She will have her eggs and I will have mine. This should be fun. And I couldn't waste 4 perfectly good eggs.

But she will have 2-1 odds if I give her 8. That will leave me with four for the contest. Now you know the whole story and I will go with what you say this time.

-thanks OK! I'm so loving it... it is such an improvement, sure to help with selling... I wish I could afford to keep it as a "ski house"/"summer house", but c'est la vie... there will be a family who will be very happy here... and I will get all the same stuff to decorate my new house wherever that may be!

ahh, I see... well... you're pretty funny... no orange cord. definitely.

Little BR Broody should have the better odds...

OK, you need to crochet a doily for the table, to go under the incubator. and no store bought ones, get a book and learn how... it will look very pretty! and you can have the bragging rights... as for the lead cord, I say run it straight up into the chandelier, but decorate it with craft pearls or something, so it doesn't look like an electric cord anymore...

You are going to have that place so pretty you won't want to sell it. And I am going to have mine so jacked up nobody would want to buy it. How bout a few deer heads on the walls?......no better get the grandson pictures hung up first. He is coming to see me next month. OK I will give the broody eight. I can practice with four.

I would die in a deer hunting accident by one of my hunting buddies if I got caught trying to crochet. But I do like your idea about the cord
