Should I buy eggs or wait it out?

Coop cleaning question!
The one side of the building (big coop) is almost clean. I can finish the job around 3:00, when the temperature is warm enough, and the girls are mostly done laying.
I hesitate to wash the coop because the floor won't be completely dry, and I frankly don't want to (

). However, isn't that like putting a clean diaper on a dirty bottom?
I am asking if you guys think I should go ahead, and wash the coop, or just shovel the old bedding, scrape the roosts and floor, and put down clean bedding, then clean it well in June (when I will be selling off part of the flock)?

MC, I'm with scrambles....although take my opinion with an industrial sized salt lick because I don't even have chickens so I know nothing of coop cleaning.

I have more kids than my mom did....I'm trying to remember if I was this impatient for them to appear...but they've given me brain damage and I can't remember that far back lol. chick watch continues...

Attention please! Professor Wattles here to remind everyone that today, March 14,
is National Pi
e Day, the most important holiday in Chickendom.

Please help us celebrate by serving copious amounts of PIE.

For those NOT of the geeky persuasion, I will explain. Today's date is March 14, or 3.14, commonly known as pi.
pi = pie.
It is a well documented fact that chickens do not recognize the existence of silent Es.

Pleas serv us pi today!!

MC, I agree with both Scrambles and Mortie. You don't want to risk mold growing. It can kill.

My kids have destroyed so many of my brain cells. They don't seem to regrow!

W4W... My girls will be getting Pie today. In fact they think that everyday is Pie day. Today is a wet mucky mess outside.
Rain... rain... rain.... The girls will stay penned up today. It is time for an egg check. I know that Rumples was on the nest this morning... so I have at least a small bluish green egg waiting.

I want chickies soo very much!! The only way to get them is if one of my girls goes broody. I told DH that I would need to get her some eggs to brood and hatch.
