Should I buy eggs or wait it out?

it's true! and I have an order for at least a dozen blown Marans shells! if I can give her more, she'll take them... I think I may give her some of the LF Cochin EE, Josephine's eggs, they are really beautiful, nice green with lots of dark brown speckles. I have to get a pic of her eggs... I keep forgetting...

We are up to 9 chicks!!!!! Lost 2 others though.... one hadn't absorbed the yolk and one pipped on the side of the shell and couldn't get any farther.... I did open the incubator to get those 2 out. The others seem to be doing really well, and I know that at least one more has pipped! I'm going to watch, and if no more pip, I may move everyone to the temporary brooder really fast. Not quite sure yet. My humidity has been staying around 65-70%, so if I do it quickly I should be ok. What do you all think?

lindz, do you what you think is best. certainly you know to be quick... depending on how much knocking around they're doing to the unhatched eggs... you know they're okay in the incubator til tomorrow morning...got anymore new pics???

Well..... I know you aren't supposed to, but I didn't have any pips at the moment, so I went ahead and moved all the hatched chicks to the brooder. They were going from basket to basket and knocking the other eggs around, and getting upset when they got away from each other. Silly chicks! So, here are all the new chicks!






Guess what I have Cheeka....... Hint... dark skin and legs plus 5 toes!

And... I have a yellow chick with feathered legs.... wasn't expecting that! It came out of a G.Comet egg, so I guess the BCM is the dad!
