Should I buy eggs or wait it out?

Major News! Fannie aka Bakery, the suspected Dud is ON THE NEST! If she actually lays, it'll be an Easter Egg for real! the girls are taking the Easter Egg hunt very seriously this morning. I have 7 eggs so far, and only 3 of them were in the nests. One was in the dust bath, 2 hidden in the litter, and 1 in the corner of the store bought coop! They're clucking fools at the moment, and I let them out as I won't be around for most of the afternoon, so I best get back out there before they cross the road or get eaten by something! I have pics of Fannie to share later!

I put my hand under Rumples and she let me! She didn't even growl. I quickly felt for eggs. Didn't feel any. Could it possibly be?? Could I have more babies??

I need to go back and do a thorough check. I am so excited. Shaking again.....

Oh YAY!! No eggs under Rumples. I felt a chick, pulled it out. It was yellowish with lav markings!! I just might have 5 chickies!!
