Should I buy eggs or wait it out?

thanks, it's so true... she has times when she's like a 2 year old, jumping up on her personal little table... very affectionate, and other times when she falls off the little table, doesn't land on her feet, has difficulty getting up and looks really vacant. she sleeps a lot.

Its always so difficult to watch a beloved pet go downhill. My Cody will be 13 this year (we think) and has had 2 knee surgeries. His knee clicks when he walks and he has a limp. Hmmm... MY knee clicks when I walk and I have a limp too.

I think I am going to die of shock! The turkey babies just put themselves to bed!!

I didn't see if both were outside when I walked outside, but by the time I was 10 yards from the pen, I saw one, and told him to go to bed. I had no reason to think he would!

The roof is not secured down, so I lifted it to be sure, and the other one was in there! I can't figure out if they went because they were tired, or saw me, and connected the darkness with me making them go inside. It doesn't matter! They went!!

22 eggs today, and thank you for the responses. I am keeping my 2 BR. I won't sic them on anyone. I have some shame!!

Now that I am not watching television, should I try that again?
One customer buys about 10 dozen/month. Another 4. I may start getting customers from my new church, but IDK. I have good egg numbers (most of the time).
Using my calculations, I should keep 7 girls. I am thinking 12. That creates a chicken math problem since I will also keep one rooster, which gives me an odd number. Odd numbers require you to buy another dozen chicks.

These are the best pictures I have. The Golden Comet is bare backed. She is there on the bottom left.


Here you can see a GLW that has white fluff near her bottom. The rooster you see (Ameraucana) has a red square of flesh above his tail, and his tail looks like he was in a fight. He is the dominant roo, so I know he is just molting.


I am asking if I should sell them anyway, or keep them and sell ones I want to keep, but are better looking?
Also, these are 7/16/12 hatches, and June/July hatches from last year. What do I charge? I know I paid $10 for 3-y-old Red Sexlinks a few years ago. I was thinking $20 for last year's and $15 for the previous year. Opinions?

I paid $10 each for my RSL, Easter egger and Rumples. They were about 20 weeks old when I bought them. BUT different areas of the country have different prices. My chicks were $2.99. On CL pullets go for $10-15.
