Ok.... I just might jinx this if I talk about it...but here goes. I think..... I think that Rumples tried to walk on her feet. When I opened the broody pen, the Bungees dashed out and Rump was close behind. Her feet do not move, but she tried to put weight on them. She has not done this in 3 weeks. I thought that I was wrong about what I saw, but then she did it again when I tossed out some mealworms. Her feet aren't working but she is trying. I am very very hopeful......![]()

She is getting the Super B complex. She is really good about eating whatever I sneak them into. She also get 1/2 baby aspirin a day. And yes... she has attempted to walk several more times. I do not have to push her. She tip toed to the big girl feeder and was able to stand tall enough to eat from it.That's great news. Has she been getting the vitamins or is she healing on her own?
The picture is super cute!
my NH Fosters have shorter combs than W4W's, but I believe you have at least 4 weeks to go with the pinkest, and longer for that BR in particular. she may not lay until she's 28 weeks... hang in there - it's coming... and the breeds you chose are good layers, once they start, you'll be happy!wow, I thought the NH were described as 'close combed' that looks big to me. oh well, will go buy another dozen..... thanks.
Broody twins! Sweet...." Hey open up this thing and feed me!"
