Should I buy eggs or wait it out?

thanks W4W! I spent a lot of extra time yesterday during work... I had to stop wherever a flower had bloomed... and yeah, such a bummer, but they have so much stuff going on. they may make it in July, but Mylee starts school in August... the plan is now for me to get a week off and go visit them! I think I should have no trouble going after the first week of June. I have commitments toward the end of May and early June, so....

Must be a Mothers Day thing. Mine is being spent laying on the grass with chicks running around me. A slice of heaven!

The little Bungess got to free range and I got to lay on the grass and watch them. Very relaxing afternoon.

It is amazing how fast these little chicks move and their mouth are always to the ground. I am guessing the one in front is a pullet and the
one in the back is cockerel. Knowing me... the guess will be wrong. Two of the Lavender Ams have a larger but yellow pea comb and the other Lav Am has a smaller pinkish comb. I am not rehoming anyone until I am sure.

Little Bit is the most adventurous of the bunch. Always taking off alone, but soon two of the Lav Ams follow. I smell trouble....

Been cooking all day for family! Got a short time outside but not much. Did have time to take my dad, step mom and niece and nephew to visit Trixie. They enjoyed that. So tired and this upcoming week is going to be busy w an all week meeting.
