Should I buy eggs or wait it out?

Chicken in the tub, dog in the bed. Animals are tortured on this farm. I do have a dog kennel, two small portable coops, and the small pen next yo the big one in the barn... Thing. She may stay in the tub tomorrow. I may shower with the hose.
ETA the hen has sour crop.

Been a busy week, mini's went back to school and I headed back to college. Ladies are sitting at 19 weeks 5 days and my count is 0. At least their checking out the nests and I have about 4 underfoot from the time I open the coop. I feel so loved

I think that Jemma has laid her first egg. Whee!! Got 3 today. Nugget has a lid 5 days in a row. Today's egg weighed 54grams. Jemmas first egg was 32.

The dog, Sturgis, is getting around a little easier today. Not that he ever stopped running or (awkwardly ) jumping. He will stand with his foot down, and I swear I have seen him use it for a few steps.
His made up birthday (shelter dog) is next month. He is about six. I expect arthritis to set in soon. He has had a lot of injuries. Anyone know an approximate of when a small dog is likely to get arthritis?
