I'm with you, except here it's a mini heat wave, but the EE's carry on, little laying machines. The 5 brown egg layers got some 'splainin to do!!

Barred Rocks are known for their evil ways. They will never lay!
In seriousness, if they are from a hatchery, expect an egg any day. I think all of my hens began by 18 weeks except the Heritage Marans. They were 22 weeks.

You are pretty far north so you may have to do some supplemental lighting this time of year. Make sure they have 14+ hours of light a day along with a good diet and access to calcium (oyster shell and/or crushed egg shell). You should see some eggs very soon.
