MC - I've decided my husband is living outside with the dog. I'm not going to generalize men in general but my man is a mess. Doesn't help that he's a mason and we don't have mud room (ONE DAY............).

Oh I hate my job... can I make money on my chickens? I sooo need some chicken therapy and it's only 11:37. I might leave an hour early cause I need to get some feed.

And I don't hate my job... Well I do... but not really. I hate complaining because it allows me soooo many perks. Like leaving an hour early to get feed. But the corporate politics are just blowing my mind. If I ran my life the way some of these people make decisions I'd never survive.

I hear ya. I always wear my leathers when I ride. Even on hot days. Little pebbles hurt like heck and so do bugs... Splat!! Although, I might opt out on the jacket, The half chaps are always on.

No, I got a really good deal, I think. He is trying to clean out his barn and reduce numbers in advance of starting NPIP certification, so he offered some of the random pullets left in his brooder for $12. They may not be perfectly colored and the Rhodebar might be a green layer, but I will be happy because they will be pretty regardless, and healthy, and lay some eggs eventually. Which is more than I can say for my poor, molting flock. I don't think I could bring myself to pay $40 for a fertile egg.

They'd all be cockerels anyway!

and a Rump. THREE!!!! but, the egg that Jemma laid was on the ground in the run. Jemma seems to be having a hard time figuring things out. Nugget was great from day one and has not taken a break yet. I kinda wish that she would. I don't want her to burn her poor body out.
