Should I buy eggs or wait it out?

I also have an ear problem. At first is was an off and on thing, but lately, it has been an annoying and painful "fluttering" of my eardrums.

I would love an Olive Egger.

scrambles, my ears were doing that too. Kind felt clogged and buffeted, like when you leave a back window open in a fast moving car. When that subsided, the high pitched squealing would start. Was making me nuts.

Cream Legbars... yeah, you told us that before... poor ol' brain... I would think there would be someone out there wanting a CL cockerel. Seems they're still fairly rare and pricey. Maybe if you don't ask too much. Some people might even take them younger for less. Save you some feed.

It finally loaded!
The flatter loaf is from a slightly wider pan. It tastes okay. I just don't know what to do with it... I had thought my marriage would be better by now. Today I was informed that it isn't. Sourdough is his favorite, so I made it in the hope that after all this time, he would be home soon. The second loaf is in the freezer, and the other will probably be going in the freezer tomorrow.
I how the ringing of the ears gets better for everyone soon!

Okay guys, riddle me this.

I've got one laying in the middle of the coop. At first I thought it was that she was dropping them off the roost, but I don't think that is what is happening...I guess maybe it could be only because I had a light in the coop that was turning on well before daylight but I took it out when we got to 12 hrs natural light and it was only giving them about 1 additional hour. She is one that lays at the same time every day. My chickens have never read that manual where it says they lay a little later every day. So I guess maybe her body is used to laying at a certain time and it's still dark then. I took the light away right before this started happening. The egg is in the same spot on the coop floor and there is no "nest" around it.

The later every day is not true. Chickens are close to 24 hours per egg but that is an average so some lay before 24 hours and some lay after 24 hours. It is something like 22 to 26 hours for the range.

Try changing the environment of the coop--move stuff around a bit. If that does not work, move her out for a day or two and then move her back in.

The coop is empty...there is literally nothing I could move in there. They go in and it's a 4x4 box and the next boxes are at the far end mounted on the outside. I guess I could put something in there but that won't help if she's dropping them from the roost. I figured out who is is. Maggie. She is the sassy one.

Maybe the idea is that a change might break her routine. Shake her up a bit. Get her out of her rut.

A cardboard box might do the trick.
