Should I buy eggs or wait it out?

Half an hour ago, I put the final load of laundry in the washer after my shower. Other than that and dishes I am done!
The chickens are watered, and the nest boxes replenished. Four eggs!
The duck run is fixed, and all the weeds and saplings are down. The fence repaired, and standing again. The roof (netting) pulled tight. I did that before fixing the door, so the door now opens inward. The run is three feet tall. There was no way of getting back in there.
The straw is down, and the storage area rearranged (thinking about this stuff is making me hurt more!). The feeder is up, the water bowl is down. I even added a guard on the side of the chickens' pen where ducklings ('cause there will be some soon!) can wander underneath their elevated floor. I added a lock to be sure the pop door stays firmly shut.
The turkey pen roof (tarps that have now been torn relentlessly in these strong winds!) has been removed to allow rain (or whatever) to clean the poop out and prevent more damage to the tarps.
The laundry is all put away, and the gifts are upstairs. My bedroom is a bedroom again, and not just a place to keep stuff away from little hands and mouth.
I need to get the twigs and stuff out of the shower at some point (from my hair) and I realized while in there that I didn't re-cover the prefab coop. That can wait!

Apparently, I should do the dishes more often. I usually do it once or twice a week. Well, I found the source of this horrible smell. I had not seen the cup, and there is milk in it. It is not a liquid anymore! I held my breath the entire time I cleaned it out. After that, I had to clean the coop. The girls weren't to happy because it is cold, and their coop is warm. I gave them some cheese, though, so they stopped squawking att me. My easter eggers still aren't laying. It seems that the more I want them to lay, the longer they wait.

I get you on the milk! OMG! Do I!
And that is how chickens work! Stop caring, and you get what you want!

Someone wanna tell me where the missing two baby socks are?

It always seems to me that whenever I acomplish something hard, I am happy on the inside. On the outside, though, I look like I have been awake for 48 hours and had just walked through an apocalypse.
I just gave my pullets some dried mealworms. I am trying to remember the last time they had them. They acted like they just won the lottery. Incredible job on those chores you did! Speaking of that, I have some dog puke to clean up.

lynn, runny poop is normal in it's part of the poop cycle. runny poop all the time is not normal.

MC, I'm tired from just reading all the stuff you did. I was lazy today because I did good yesterday.

If I did things as well as you, I wouldn't have had so much to do!
I already have plans (and names!) for my new ducklings! I don't even have ducks yet, and I have ducklings hatched out in my head!!

You guys should see the crap I am getting in the Pennsylvania thread about the ducks. More accurately, the ducklings. The woman that will be picking the ducks up for me is offering to bring her back hoe to help me dig a pond!

Here is Jaz playing with an empty box after killing her walker and her walking/riding toy. Poor elephant! He wiggled his ears, "how 'bout you? I can stomp my feet, can you do it too?..." I like when I sing the songs with him. Jazlyn looks at me like I'm magic! LOL! This is where the table was. I can still get that rocker in there! Right in front of the camp chair.

And here is an after pic of the run I fixed. That brush is clear of snakes and varmints. I know because I waves crawling all over in there.

Nice setup! and a small pond would be just awesome!

don'cha know that a big empty box is the best toy ever! my dad used to cut windows, then tape a shoe box outside for me to make paper flowers for... and another shoe box for "mail" lol. and he would sacrifice some pages from his museum and art magazines so I could have famous artists in my cardboard house. I liked Renoir and Manet the most when I was little. then I got into Van Gogh and Monet... very fancy...
