How I feel on the inside.
How I feel on the outside.
Half an hour ago, I put the final load of laundry in the washer after my shower. Other than that and dishes I am done!
The chickens are watered, and the nest boxes replenished. Four eggs!
The duck run is fixed, and all the weeds and saplings are down. The fence repaired, and standing again. The roof (netting) pulled tight. I did that before fixing the door, so the door now opens inward. The run is three feet tall. There was no way of getting back in there.
The straw is down, and the storage area rearranged (thinking about this stuff is making me hurt more!). The feeder is up, the water bowl is down. I even added a guard on the side of the chickens' pen where ducklings ('cause there will be some soon!) can wander underneath their elevated floor. I added a lock to be sure the pop door stays firmly shut.
The turkey pen roof (tarps that have now been torn relentlessly in these strong winds!) has been removed to allow rain (or whatever) to clean the poop out and prevent more damage to the tarps.
The laundry is all put away, and the gifts are upstairs. My bedroom is a bedroom again, and not just a place to keep stuff away from little hands and mouth.
I need to get the twigs and stuff out of the shower at some point (from my hair) and I realized while in there that I didn't re-cover the prefab coop. That can wait!
