Should I buy eggs or wait it out?

You are catching the highly contagious Chicken Math!  I see it was your barred rock that died.  Sorry about that.  I had one and she was super friendly and family favorite.

Yup!!! Except maybe it's now poultry math since I want like every bird!? :p Heck, I even want parakeets or cockatiels LOL

And yup it was! I always forget that that's in the signature too and I mean, I barely had her, she was only 6 days old, so I'm not really sure why I always feel the need to bring her up and be like well I HAD this many but now i have this many instead of just saying 8 to begin with LOL sorry but yeah, she was really really sweet and friendly in the short time she lived! And my current one is very bold and sociable and sometimes lets me pet or catch her. I didn't spend enough time with them though and still sometimes catch them for things so they're all still a teeny bit skittish at the moment lol but they do all crowd around me whenever I enter the run! It's more when I try to touch them they run, which us understandable since they think I'm gonna catch them. I'm hoping with the bigger run or free range i can find a place to sit with them more often and finally socialize them. Hahah some of them are calmer though. Like the easter eggers run away the fastest whereas the orps put up a fight at first but then chill once i catch them. Not for long though lol anyway, sorry, I'm rambling now

Ramble away! I had to sneak off to get dinner started. Should have said something, because I usually leave the computer on! I'm not ignoring anyone, just outside or something!

Yeah, a baby turkey is a poult. It just isn't as catchy as "Little turkey". Of course, another girl could be Chick.
I've had it planned for quite some time now, that they would have a boy. His name is going to be Alexander just because I said so. :)

You are raising him, so you ought to be able to name the little turkey!

Wrangler is coming down with something too. she was trying to stay home from school this morning, but seemed to be more lackadaisical and a baby aspirin snapped her out of it, but when she was picked up at school, the teacher mentioned that she thinks she's coming down with something. I just talked to her again... she's been in bed since 4, on her own. she needs rest. she knew this morning, and her Oma made her go anyway... oh the guilt! I'm kinda glad I'm not in on that... hope Duckling feels better soon!
