All of my girls are laying now. Even Smoke, my 5 year old BSL.
The counter top is granite. The color is called Dynamic Blue.

The torpedo shaped egg is Smoke's first egg of the year.

Go Smoke! I have four 4 yr olds, and they are all laying, just not as much as the younger ones. 6 eggs yesterday, so I can't complain.


Clindz, is the little gray chick an Orp? So puffy and cute!

No, they aren't. I just thought I may have been too snide.
It's fine, thanks. I have it in the fridge until I'm feeling less sick. And when it isn't so nice out. Can't bake when you're running around outside from sun up to sun down (and beyond last night).

I am off to see the surgeon in about 15 minutes. I'm scared that he'll just put me back to work without full consideration of the weight I have to tote. he's a great surgeon, but he is so very quick about everything, must be overbooked... he rarely holds still long enough to ask a question and if I do get one out, he answers it while he's halfway out the door and on his way down the hall... his words trailing behind him...
