Should I buy eggs or wait it out?

:bun I bought a new television! I have been wanting to get one for many years, and have been hunting for over a year. Things finally fell into place, and I got an awesome deal on the television and the stand! :celebrate

Watching M*A*S*H is annoying. Color and hi-def makes it too clear!! I did watch "Finding Dory". That was too cool! I can't imagine watching that movie on my old television!

ron, that dinner must have been superb... I'll do some baking for Christmas - it will be fun to have Wrangler's help with cookies and stuff...but gluten free baking is only so good...I do have a phenomenal pumpkin bread recipe tho'.

Nice TV MC! we also got Finding Dory - I was going to put it away for Christmas, but we've been so miserable...I broke it out this afternoon and watched while we decorated the tree. we all loved the movie.

that's me... in kindergarten. and it's not the oldest ornament...

Congrats on the new tv! It's a monster! We ended up with a plasma tv because I didn't like how sharp the others were.
It is only fifty inches. I was planning on a sixty. My brother-in-law (my side of the family) brought me to Best Buy because they were having a good sale, and he felt it was important to let me see what I was buying. Of course I agree with that. He also told me that I didn't want a 60" unless I was moving my recliner. Currently, Duckling's play area is behind the seating. I looked for myself at my sister's place (they have a sixty) and my eyes went buggy right away. So I am glad I listened.
I am almost used to the way the shows look now.

I am sorry you got sick too.
I liked the end of the movie. I can't say I would watch it again. If Duckling wanted to see it, I would watch it once more. It was cute, but not like "finding Nemo" . I can't say that it was obvious as to what "adult situations" were in there.

Beautiful tree!!! Those kid germs are brutal. My 15 yr old has been fighting some upper resp thingy for over a week and so far I have not succumbed. ...so far. sniff Hope you all feel better soon.

MC, that was nice of your bro in law, he knows his stuff!

Nice Tree! and picture.

For Christmas, there will be Cinnamon rolls at breakfast and then either a boneless lamb leg or a Beef rib roast and all the sides that go with it. I will also bake something for dessert. Christmas is at home with the Family, not the extended family.

it's quiet in here... hope everyone is well!

but we have been busy around here! Wrangler went to a "Daddy/Daughter" dance last weekend, escorted by my brother - it was formal...he rented a tuxedo, she had her fabulous red dress and black high heels... 3 course dinner, music by a professional DJ. she was saying that she would probably come home after dinner...lol. she danced to every single song and had a magical evening!
we've been making holiday/just for the fun of it treats every day after school, and doing little things around the house to make it more festive - we are all so excited for Christmas!

Sounds like a magical time for Wrangler. I hope you can post some pics. Would love to see her dressed up.

It's been busy here. Doing a bit more shopping and visiting- it's that time of year. I bought a Christmas tree... it's still in a bucket on the front porch! Have to clear a spot in the living room to set it up. This is a magic house... things come in but they never seem to go out. Too much stuff!

Sadly, I lost my favorite little Serama this week. Probably a hawk got her. PJ was the one pullet I kept from this year's hatch, and kind of my little buddy. I think she came down by the house to look for me instead of staying with the others under the oak, so she was exposed. I keep forgetting not to have a favorite. Kiss of death.
