Should I buy eggs or wait it out?

The poo is so pretty!

There was a thread about it. seems like something they ate did it.
If you chickens have tape worm, you dogs or cast likely do too. People and get this type of tape worm but usually it is children. This type dies on it's own in a couple of years in humans. It is not as bad as the human tape worm.

In other words, worm all the animals and have the children checked

Thanks Ron. Fortunately the cats are indoors only and the kids are 16 & 19, so I only have to worry about the dog and the chickens. Quite sure it is not food related. I think it may be parasite related and their production of ammonia reacting with the uric acid. My chemistry is very rusty, but some things I read makes it sound possible. No direct link found, though so :idunno

Are you sure they did not have access to berries or something colored? I gave mine some beet skins and oh boy was the poo scary...

Yes, I am sure. I walked the yard looking for anything possible. Layer pellets and the 2 month old bag of scratch is all I feed. No fruit left in the yard, the garden has been pulled, and nothing is flowering now. There's green grass, but the only berries in the yard right now are cotoneaster, which are red, and in all the years they have been eating them have never shown any change in their stool. In my experience, when food colors their poo, like blueberries, it colors the whole poop. The purple color was only on the uric acid cap and the body of the stool was normal.

Have you seen it again? Closest I could find was a urinary tract infection by bacteria in people with cathedars

I had to get a new phone... I'm so curious about those poo's!

We went to the Denver Aquarium over the weekend. They have Sumatran tigers in a very small enclosure which makes me sad angry- enough that I found the petition and signed it.
Outside of that, the tanks are huge and sparkling and the sea creatures appear very healthy.
There was one strange little fish that repeatedly swam into urchin spines...it would get stung, drift down, snap out of it and go back for more...I watched him for about 10 minutes, then returned to get a picture of a seahorses and he was still at it, so I took a video. I'll get it posted soon, but here are some of the other shots I got

Cheeka strikes again with BEAUTIFUL pictures. All I got is poo. Feel like Charlie Brown at Halloween.

I can spend hours and hours in an aquarium. Come to CA and I'll take you guys to Monterey. Fantastic aquarium and beautiful place.
