The little lumpy chick has duck shoes on now and is scurrying around like crazy. Eating well. I’m going to supplement with bit B complex.

Great idea to use painters tape. Makes the whole process so much simpler than what I've seen other people try with stickier tape.
And the blue is much more fashionable too!

Well... Ducky’s toes are a bit better but, it runs on top toes and loses balance. Any clues??

I can’t explain why her overalls are on backwards. This evening she remembered that they are carpenter jeans. She has safety glasses, (my! ) flashlight, wrench, hammer, and level, plus the screwdrivers were in the actual front pockets. I told her to put my flashlight back, but when we went to close up the birds, it was somehow magically whipped out of a pocket.
I intend to get her one of those Garity single use flashlights. We’ll see what I end up grabbing for her.

I’m going to have to put shoes on my curled toed chick. There may also be an issue with slipped tendons. Poor thing gets around but reminds me so much of Rumples. Should I cull??

Yes, You can use tape-- like painters tap on the top and bottom. Straighten the bent toes and the apply the tape
