Got an egg from my 8 yr old Welsummer and getting the occasional egg from the same age EE. Impressed with those old gals! Overall, a dozen eggs every 4 days or so. Not too bad considering the youngest ones are 3 now.

I have four store bought eggs left in the refrigerator and four Golden Comets that are 18 weeks old tomorrow. Should I buy eggs or wait it out? This is a tough one. What to do?

I say buy another dozen. Why don’t you post a picture of their faces? You can usually tell by their comb and wattles. They usually get really red and puffy looking
