Should I buy eggs or wait it out?

Sorry to hear about your loss cheeka, I know how that feels...several times over..I know OK makes fun of me for carry but it usually happens just that fast. Glad to have the poetry back though. I caved in and put a nest box on the poarch. I even carried the pullet to the hen house and put her in a nest. She plucked at the eggs a few times, then beelined it to a corner on the poarch. Am I just lazy? Eggs are easy to collect just outside the door. How convienent.

ACW I think your awesome for having a gun and knowing how to use it. Remember I live on the other side of those mountains in Kentucky and your my kind of people. You have taught me a lot and been very helpful when I have questions. Thanks friend and keep that gun handy.

Yeah, I know, not in a bad way! we gotta look out for our friends in Kentucky! Now, I just got Moe two (moetu) arrived via 4 wheeler, mama of six - game bird - she's mean I've been warned! Same pattern as Moe only more red. Chickens! One leaves and seven come home...I can't wait to see the peeps tomorrow. Maybe this one will take out the bobcat. Like my friend says, there's no guarentee on chickens.
