Should I buy eggs or wait it out?

Wanna hear something so very hillbilly redneck? I find it so much easier to toss stuff out the window for them. It's about fifty feet down, and they are all hanging out there in the shade anyway. They turn their heads and watch treats fall out of the sky. It's conveinent to live in the middle of nowhere sometimes, although the last bit of watermelon kinda exploded on impact.

Hahahaha! I have two boys that would love to help you feed your chickens! What is it about boys and destroying stuff anyway? They ask-- Why can't we live in a 2 story house? Never realized they just wanted to toss watermelons out of the upper windows!

Come to think of it, sounds kinda fun. Maybe we'll add a second floor someday....

I used to teach drivers ed... and would take a watermelon and drop it out of the car window at about 30 miles per hour in the parking lot...

watermelon and human skulls split about the same... so it was a good lesson about why seatbelts are important...

It's a Watermelon Tossing Day!
ACW's gang is eagerly waiting
for the bomb to hit to start celebrating!
W4W's boys want to join the fun
with no 2nd floor, they need a watermelon gun!
2 big bunjees should launch them far
lean back into it boys, it's all out war!
The chickens will clean up the mess
who'll have the most fun? take one guess!

I'm rusty... and it's "mail count", with no clerk in our office, I'm getting the extra time to come in early to count mail... get a 2' tray of letters... and start...1,2,3,4,5... and then someone comes in and says the Giants won 30 something to 7, so I go backwards to 8... then I'll be at 40 something and someone will call out who has 22 Chapel Rd... so I'm like 23... dang it! (each 2' tray can hold hundreds and hundreds of pieces depending on how thick...) nothing like counting 3000 letters and postcards and 600 magazines, newspapers and catalogs when all you want to really do is go home and hang out with the chickens! it's easy to count zero...eggs...

One egg again today. Stupid sun going down too early, and coming up too late! Is it spring yet?
If someone say a hen will lay through the winter, are they saying with decreased light?

Couldn't you make a good guess on how many letters are in the tray and if the total is disputed explain to them you only know "chicken math"

Its a trick.....don't go for it. They will use any excuse to get pie. We both use the same sun and I got six out of seven yesterday. (Not counting broody) Mine got pancakes for breakfast and pie for dinner.....no problems here.
