Should I buy eggs or wait it out?

Roger you don't know how close you came to getting your neck wrung when you jumped up and grabbed the bottom of that three pound bag of bird seed and tore the bottom out of the bag.

omg, why is it always the BR's that are so "innocently" naughty??? my Wilma tore into a big bag of seeds the other day too! everyone else is so patient... I think Betty put her up to it...

The weather in Kentucky depends on where the storm hit land. Could be a major rain producer and windy. Too early to tell. But today was beautiful here with temps in the 80's and sunshine. Probably won't see anymore of that for a while. If the wind blows anything away right now I hope its Roger.

Yep.....the handfuls I was giving out as rewards/treats were not enough. So she jumped up and grabbed the bottom of the bag and ripped the bottom out of the bag. Three pounds of birdseed on the coop floor.I kid you not. I scooped up what I could.

There is 45 pounds of layer crumble in the feeder. I dumped three full bags of grass clippings mixed with leaves in the run for them. They had apples and pumpkin today too. Two cans of scratch one this morning and one this afternoon. And Roger has to rip the bottom out of a 3 pound bag of bird seed because she is starved to death.

Yep, she gets an A+

my Pug get straight A+'s for being the most deprived, bereft, and forgotten baby (who is on my lap whenever I sit down, and sleeps on top of me all night long) she also gets an A+ for starving, but her fatness disqualifies her...

Pugs always look so chubby when they sit like this... she's really not fat, just fluffy...

Yes she looks so neglected. Poor mut. There's one in every crowd, one hen always likes to take a bite from the spoon when i ladle out the ff, spilling it everywhere. This spring like weather has also affected my roos..I had to hurry up and build two isolated coops..so have been busy. And dropped a ton of manure, so the chickens are busy too. This hurricane is supposed to draw cold from the north...with rain and snow for higher elevations. Time to bring in wood.
