Hi LilwanisGlad you posted. It got Ruby laying! Maybe she was afraid of public embarrassment. Roger has no shame, but I think there are some chickens who care about their reputations!
I've seen you on the EE bragger's thread and definitely agree with you about the EEs (Cheeka will too). I only have one now, but had a few about 25 years ago and loved them then. The next time I have room for more chickens, EEs will be at the top of a very long list.
Animallover, do you provide the crickets? We have lots of earwigs and the occasional Jerusalem cricketthat I'm so happy to have devoured by the mob. Now I just need to train them to catch mosquitoes and flies! After that, they need to learn how to clean the coop.
