I just set eight duck eggs, three pure bred rouen eggs, and six rouen x khaki campbell mutts. six went in yesterday, and three went in today. Should I candle the first six today? Or wait a while?

I say wait... only because I am trying very hard not to candle today (day one) as well.

There really isnt anything to see until day three, after all.

if you have a EXTREMELY bright light, then you might be able so see something, but otherwise, definitely not. You wont see anything.

Yep, I don't usually candle till day 7, I'll probably wait till day 8 on this batch since they were set 2 days apart!! Most recommend day 7, 14 and then right before lockdown!!

Yup, what they said. Nothing to see day one. Same as looking at a store egg. Nothing, but a yolk. If you are documenting it, then go for it, but really no need.
