They have both crests, which is the TopKnot, & walnut combs. Some silkies will have single combs.

Silkies are supposed to have a walnut. It's their comb for the breed. Some have nice crests to hide them though.

I first learned about capons when I was reading a book. They mentioned the duke or whatever had a Capone for his dinner and got curious
