well, that really was hard! My husbands first cull....................they are in chicken heaven right now. The marans i will treat for a little while than decide their fate.

i do sell chicks but they never meet the ground. Straight from the brooder boxes to the client.

Aww sorry to hear that, Silly!!

I believe you made the right decision in culling them. I know it's hard on us humans, but they don't have to suffer anymore and are in a good place doing what chickens do

the 2 chickens were named after my daughter and her BFF. They really were bad, i know i did the right thing. Just feels horrible taking life............
