SHOULD I FREAK YET????

Today is hatch day and nothing!!! i know it is early in the morning but i dont even see moving or chirping. my temp and humidity has been right on the whole time. this is my 2nd hatch and it is different then the first, is this normal?? i am so scared i wont get nothing.

i candled on day 17 and tossed one stinky and dead but everyone was else was ok. what do i do????

Just try to have patience. Find something else to do for the day, remember watched pots never boil!!

Sometimes when you think the temps and humidity has been right on it takes them alittle longer. Fingers crossed you see pips today!

is it normal not to hear anything? last time i heard and seen alot of action. they were right on. and how long do i give them?

nope try not to freak out just yet , they just may be a lil off schedule.

I hatch chicks all the time. I am deaf but DH is my listening guide for peepings in shells! Only twice in all these years has he ever heard the chicks peep before a pip!!! I don't go by that or the rocking and a rolling deal

I agree with Tuff, I rarely hear peeping. I sometimes don't hear all that well either. Once they start to work on pipping they get tired out easily and rest for long periods. It is easy to miss the action. Best to Step away from the Bator.

Isn't hatching nerve wracking!

I sit with my nose pressed to the glass!

My first hatch I went from nose to the glass... to computer... to wine... then start all over again.

Usually by the time my husband gets home... there is no dinner and I am a nervious wreck!
