I'm going to an auction tomorrow morning and I have noticed in the catalogue it says there is a belgian barbu d'anvers hen and a silver-laced wyandotte bantam hen for sale. So how can I resist? I have an extra five meters square space in my large fowl run and the coop is plenty big enough. Now, should I get them or shouldn't I? I have to ask because otherwise I'll just go and get them! I wont blame anyone who says yes if something goes wrong!!!
But I need your opinion whether these two could live with four large fowl hens? I have a separate small coop and run where they can live when I introduce them to the others, but I wouldn't want to keep them in there for ever. Just wondered what everyone's opinions are? I need to decide quite quickly, I don't know where I can get either of these breeds near me so this chance is quite rare!
Thank you!!
