I wonder if it is because it is colder there? My husband is like a skunk when it comes to sniffing out eggs!

Last year he found every guinea nest and I hatched about 300 quinea from FIVE hens!

WOW I guess the weather must be the reason!!!

I advertised on craigslist, but I don't think they are going to sell locally.

I wouldn't discount it. I put up an ad for duck and quail eating eggs the other day. I mentioned at the bottom of the ad that I also have hatching eggs. Guess what I sold? 4 orders of hatching eggs...NO eating eggs. People have hatching fever BAD right now. SInce the ads are free, it wont hurt to run one.

Sebastopol eggs usually sell for around $20. a piece
but be advised that they could freeze during shipping
and they should be no more than 7 days old
when you ship.
Waterfowl are harder to hatch than poultry
so freezing temps, improper handling, cleaning and
storing and long shelf life will only decrease
their hatchability.

I packed the ones I just sent in pine shavings as well as other stuff. It is above freezing here, lets hope they get there unfrozen and unbroken. Do you have any tips for shipping these eggs?

Thank you! I am glad you are selling your hatching eggs! I think I need to start selling my EE's, Cochins and Turken eggs. I also have runner duck eggs and should have peacock, and Turkey eggs soon!!
