Should I start lockdown early?

I'm incubating coturnix quail, it's the very end of day 13 and several eggs are twitching! Should I wait until tomorrow or go ahead and set up lockdown procedures? Get the humidity up and whatnot tonight? I'd not expected to see any movement yet and it's so early.

Are they just shifting around? I'm so excited!

Things are going very well! 9 of the 12 have hatched and I think 2 of the last ones have pipped. They're enjoying basking under the heat lamp I just bought them since the smaller one wasn't giving out enough heat

Great! Congrats.
Keep an eye on the temp under the light. Don't over heat them and make sure they have enough room to get away from the light.

They were bunched under the small light, now they lounge all around the brooder, though not directly under the hottest part. I'll likely raise it a bit after a couple of days.

Do you have a thermometer you can put under the light to see just how hot it is?
