Should i teach my duck how to fly?

He does eat but just barely atleast a couple ''bites'' of feed a day,eve even resorted to hand feeding him with a bit of success.
Is he possibly just foraging and finding bugs worms and such to eat?
I was getting very concerned about my ducks not eating as much lately until I noticed they've drilled several holes in the ground they are congregating around them and seem to be finding something to eat way down in there. . earth worms maybe? :gig

i used to have him in my front yard but one night a dog broke in and now he's in my backyard which unfortunately doesn't have dirt (ill be moving him to the front yard soon) so it cant have any earth worms...it does have a whole heck of a ton of ants flies and moths.

My ducks prefer 'duck soup' to just dry feed. I put feed, meal worms, peas, greens, corn, tomato and sometimes banana in a bowl and cover it with water and a tsp of organic ACV with the mother in it. They gobble it right up... Maybe try something like that...
Thanks ill try it asap.

I don't know where you are (I wish people would put that in their avatar thing or whatever it's called it really helps when you're trying to help people!) but you might want to try going to a local (not a chain store) farmer's market type place if you have one nearby. They will probably give you all the stuff they were going to throw out for free and the ducks will LOVE it!

I think it's called the profile! Please put where you are!
