should i treat again

i treated my 7 week olds for cocci three weeks ago.i had read that you should wait three weeks and retreat them again.just to be on the safe side.they are eating and drinking and seemed to be doing fine.their pooh smells awful and i had read thats due to blood in their pooh,i dont want to over do it.any imput would be helpful.
