Should I try to hatch old eggs (final results)

Look at it this way:

When my old broody hen was getting together a clutch of eggs..... how long do you think it took her to lay 17 eggs?

I'm betting she wasn't turning each one properly while she waited either.

Well they are in the incubator. All 90 of my eggs including: 14 Cuckoo Marans from ginasmarans

38 Mixed breed from my barnyard

I wouldnt do it. But you can put it in and see what happens. If there is no veins take it out. It may explode. Goodluck, -Jay

I wouldnt be afraid of any of the eggs. A good clean bacteria free egg can be in an incubator for 21 days and still look like a fresh egg. Good luck!
