It probably been said but Ducks are messy REPEAT Ducks are messy!!!!!

My ducks go in at night by them selves I just shut the door when I go down to them.

I have 25 chickens to 2 ducks and they get on fine.

I have a lot of enclosure space for them all and the chickens free range at about 12:00pm so they ducks get the whole run to the selves.

My ducks sleep away form the chickens in their own shed other wise they would get pooped on.

Ducks don't scratch but they will eat plants but yes won't destroy as much as chickens.

Ducks also get all the snails and slugs and all the pests you don't want, so they are good for that.

If you have male ducks and female chickens you will have to separate them as the drakes will give internal bleeding to the chickens when they try to mate with them.

Ducks are great in my opinion, they are funny and quwerky and just full of fun especially if you get them young and they get really used to you.

My ducks LOVE worms and lettuce as treats also people say ducks love peas but I am yet to try this.
